I know that last month, I made a post saying that Urgent: Support Mohamad Samra Family’s Evacuation had achieved their goal of raising $32,100. However, eight days later, Michal Brooke announced that she was going to raise the goal amount, since the situation in Gaza is ongoing:

Dear friends, thank you for helping to raise funds for Mohamed Abu Samra and his family. We’re beyond grateful for the continued kindness and support. While they’ve reached their initial goal, after careful consideration we decided to increase the goal for a few reasons listed below. Having the utmost respect for our donors we aim to fully transparent in this decision based on everyone’s continued generosity. Unfortunately the situation is still ongoing, and at present they are still unable to leave and have work to provide for their needs. The borders are still closed, and prices are soaring. Mohamed has a big family to support, including 16 immediate family members and over 20-30 extended family and friends in the north. They struggle to afford essential items like baby formula and diapers, especially with an infant and a small toddler to care for. The cost of food fluctuates week by week due to inflation and proximity to different areas. Without a steady income, they find it difficult to make ends meet, and many go without food every other day. Let’s unite and continue supporting Mohamed and his family during this time.

As of this post, this campaign is 93% towards it goal. So if you want to continue to help Mohamed and his family, then feel free to donate and/or share.
