Dear Team,
Thank you for continuing to stand with Muhammad Tareq and his family during an unimaginably difficult time. Your compassion and generosity have already made a real, tangible difference, and we wanted to share a brief update with you.
Due to temporary banking restrictions, Muhammad’s GoFundMe campaign has been paused. To ensure donations can continue reaching his family without interruption, the fundraiser has been relocated to the Chuffed platform.

Despite the ongoing hardship, there have been moments of hope worth celebrating.
We are grateful to share that Muhammad’s nephew, baby Omar, was delivered safely and is thriving. Donations have helped keep Omar’s mother, Sahar, in sufficient nutritional health to sustain breastfeeding which is an extraordinary outcome under current conditions. This is a direct reflection of your care reaching across borders and saving lives in quiet, essential ways.
There is also good family news: Muhammad’s brother Ahmed recently announced his engagement and marriage. Even amid devastation, they are holding onto the belief that a futureb rooted in dignity, safety, and love is still possible.
At the same time, urgent needs remain.
Muhammad is facing a serious dental emergency. Prolonged malnutrition and stress have significantly damaged his dental health, and he now requires several root canals and crowns. Without treatment, he faces ongoing pain and risk of infection. Addressing this medical need is essential for his health and ability to endure what continues to unfold around him.
Our estimated cost for his complete dental treatment is approximately $900 to complete the necessary restoration. Any assistance for this is appreciated.

Bombardment persists, humanitarian aid is still severely restricted, and access to medical care and basic necessities remains dangerously limited. For families like Muhammad’s, survival continues to depend on the solidarity of people who refuse to look away.
