Hi friends, I don’t even know what to say. Somehow, the situation in Gaza continues to get worse every day. High rise buildings are being systematically bombed; the IOF forces are closing in around Gaza City; and massacres on civilians everywhere are happening every day. Samira and Abdallah are still trying to survive each day. I know that many of you are stretching your finances to support Palestinian families already, but after consulting with Samira’s family we want to extend an invitation and a plea for anyone who is able, to join together and support the family monthly. If we could find 10 people to give $50/month for the next several months, that $500 can help them with food, displacement, and shelter. $50 each month isn’t cheap, but many of us can find it somewhere, I believe – it’s 2 nights of takeout, 2 pizza nights, 10+ mornings of coffee – etc. Please join us and be one of the 10 – you can message me (Maggie, the link organizer and contact for the family) through GoFundMe by clicking “Contact” under Organizer, and let me know, so that we can make plans for reaching Samira’s goals.
