Yesterday, tragedy struck Abdullah’s family. On the same day that reporter Anas al-Sharif was murdered, another bomb struck near Abdullah’s family’s tent. His mother was killed, and his father and brothers were severely injured. His 14 year old teenage brother is still in the hospital receiving surgeries for a shattered hand and shrapnel in his stomach. His 16 year old brother sent a heartbreaking video of the place where their mother was killed, while baking bread for the family. The family is devastated. Please keep this family in your thoughts, and help them if you can. Abdullah and his siblings help each other as much as possible, and now his family is injured, without food or shelter, and grieving for their mother.
