Recently, Jennifer Huddleston posted the following updates to the campaign, SAY NO TO GENOCIDE!!! HELP MUHAMMAD SAVE HIS FAMILY!!!:
June 19, 2025:
Hello Team!
I am writing with an urgent update.
Muhammad’s sister miraculously gave birth to a healthy baby girl on May 29th. Samar’s recovery has been difficult due to starvation and her breastmilk production has halted due to inadequate caloric and nutritional intake and lack of sufficient hydration.
Imagine fighting thru hunger for 9 months and managing to have a healthy baby only to watch her slowly wither away and die.
It’s unbearable.
There is limited availability of infant formula and what is available is astromically priced.
This baby will starve if we can’t pull together money for food.
She desperately needs our help.
This family’s reserves are gone.
Any 5 $/€ will make a huge difference in urgently obtaining formula for this baby.
Please give what you can.
If you can’t contribute, please share our fundraising efforts with your social media, friends, spiritual community and any other supporters that might help.
Please help us save this baby girl.
As always I send my deep love and appreciation to you all. Your generosity touches my heart and brings me to tears every day.
Thank you for staying on this difficult journey and continuing to fight for Palestinian liberation and justice.
In eternal solidarity,
Jenn
June 11, 2025:
Beautiful team,
I am happy to report to you that Muhammad is alive and hanging on. I will share some of his messages here.He had a near miss while trying to obtain food. A mere 3cm clearance made the decision between sparing his life and martyrdom. Praise to Allah he is unharmed.
***
Muhammad T.:
We went to die and we didn’t get any food.It was unimaginable.
I miraculously survived. God granted me a new life. The bullet hit the side of my neck, but thank God there was a 3-centimeter gap between my neck and the bullet.
There were many martyrs and injuries.
And I got nothing.
I can’t buy it. The money I have isn’t enough, and the prices are crazy.
Now we have to buy everything: land rent, water rent, and transportation. All of this is expensive.
We must find a solution so I can collect donations so I can continue to struggle for survival.
***
In Gaza, survival has become a matter of impossible choices. Every meal is a mission. Every errand a risk of death. For Muhammad, searching for food means stepping into the sniper’s crosshairs.
Muhammad set out on what can only be described as a mission of desperation. Starvation had already begun weakening his body. There was no food left. He knew the journey could be fatal as Israeli forces have targeted civilians even as they wait in food lines. Still, he went. There was no choice.
This is when he was nearly shot in the neck.
Around him, others were not so lucky. Dozens were martyred in the chaos, cut down as they tried to secure something as basic as bread or canned beans. And after all that, when Muhammad reached the vendors, he was met with prices so astronomical he couldn’t afford to buy anything. He risked his life and still left with nothing.
This is not an isolated story. This is life in Gaza under siege.
Following recent mass displacements, Muhammad has been forced to replace every basic necessity: shelter, clothing, cookware, hygiene products. He has no stable roof over his head. No clean water. No consistent electricity. He is surrounded by trauma, by grief, by hunger.
Despite it all he refuses to give up. His beautiful, hopeful demeanor manages to exist even under the most dire of circumstances.
Muhammad holds onto something that cannot be bombed or blockaded: hope. Hope for survival. Hope for freedom. Hope that the world will hear his story and care enough to act.
Right now, he urgently needs our help to survive. Funds are nearly completely exhausted. No money left for survival.
Please, if you can, donate anything you can to help Muhammad to just meet basic needs for him, his mom, sisters and their young children. Muhammad’s sister, Samar, gave birth to a miraculously healthy baby girl last week. Imagine trying to care for a newborn and yourself in the midst of something so horrific.
Share this story and the fundraiser link widely.
Speak out against the blockade, the starvation, and the targeting of civilians.
Palestinians struggle to live with dignity and still dream of peace.
You have all been so generous but we are their only lifeline.
Please continue to help Muhammad survive. Share his story. Raise your voice. Be the reason he and all Palestinians make it through another day.
Dark times are upon us all worldwide but let the Palestinian struggle be our beacon in the darkest of seas as we navigate through these challenges. None of us can be free until Palestine is free.
From my beloved Los Angeles, I send you good vibrations, strength, resilience and resolve.
We are all better together. I thank you for staying with us on this difficult journey.
Big love from the river to the sea.
Always yours in solidarity,
Jenn ❤️
