Hello from Seattle. I’m resharing a post from my dear friend Fares, who recently visited his home. We must stand against supporting fascism whether abroad or here at home. Here’s what he shared just yesterday (February 17, 2025:
“My life, my memories, my home…
Everything is lost. My life, even though it wasn’t easy, was still my life…not anymore. I have lost my home, my sanctuary of peace and my safe haven…not by some natural disaster, no…I lost my home from the hands of demons who are mocking us and enjoying doing the worst evil and monstrosities. They took my home away from me.
What did I do to deserve my home, my piece of heaven, being destroyed? It was a humble home, but it meant everything to me. My life has taken turn to the point of no return.”
