Today, Maggie Wilder posted the following update to the campaign, Urgent: Help a young family survive:
Thank you for your continued support for Samira and her young family. Thanks to your help, they are slowly recovering from the devastation of the fire that burned their tent and most of their belongings. At the moment they are asking for $100-$200 in order to find treatment for Mohammed, who is suffering from an ear infection and has been running a fever for a few days. The money will cover the costs to see a doctor, as well as the cost of antbiotics (very expensive in Gaza now) and also some fresh food and clean water for him so he can eat well and stay healthy.
