On June 14, 2026, Maggie Wilder made the following update to the campaign, Urgent: Help a young family survive:

Hello friends, thank you for your continued support for Samira and her young family in Gaza. I still hope for the day that the world is able to stand up and stop the ongoing violence committed by Israel, in Gaza and around the world. But the destruction of Gaza and the people who live there continues, despite the lack of media coverage. For Samira, it means a pregnancy with fear of not getting enough nutrition or proper medical care, it means raising a small giggling toddler in the middle of dangerous rubble and without access to any services or public spaces, it means no source of work for Abdullah, and today it also means to struggle with shelter—their tent burned down because of a candle they were using for light. Everything they have is gone. Whatever you give now will be used to get the supplies they need, and especially clothes and diapers for Mohammed. Thank you, -Maggie

As of this post, this campaign is 80% towards its goal. So if you’re interested in helping Abdullah and his family, feel free to donate and/or share.
