
Yesterday, Landy and I attended Manoletes‘ First Friday Salsa Night, which was at the tavern in the back of the restaurant. I admit that this was our first time being at that part of the restaurant as well as learning how to salsa dance. As you can see in the video–which was shown briefly–both of us (or at least I) need more practice, but we had fun. We were there for over an hour before we left to go home.
Earlier at around 6 PM, we were in the main part of the restaurant where we had Mexi-burgers and fries as well as churro cakes. For drinks, Landy had a couple Shirley Temples; I had Margarita Matadors. At the time we arrived, I wasn’t sure how they were going to have salsa night–whether they were going to have to move tables and chairs to open up the dance floor. So I was pleasantly surprised to see and hear that they had a tavern in the back a few hours later around 8 PM.
