January 11, 2026:
Thank you all for your continued support. Abdullah’s family is still around $500 away from being able to purchase a medical bed for him, and they need medicine as well. Thank you for helping this family care for their father during this difficult time. And please share their campaign link if you can – sharing can sometimes be just as helpful as donating. It’s so important that the world continues to hear the voices of Palestinians in Gaza and witness what they are experiencing first-hand.
January 10, 2026:
We have bad news to share – Abdullah’s father has suffered a stroke and heart attack. He is being discharged from the hospital, but as you know there are very few healthcare resources allowed in Gaza right now. The family is devastated over the declining health of their father (Muhammed’s grandfather) and also upset at their lack of resources to help him. Doctors have advised that he needs medication and it would help him to have a medical bed—about $1000 these days. If there’s anything extra you can give so this family can support their father, it would help immensely with their struggles. Thank you, -Maggie
