Dear friends – multiple babies have died this month of hypothermia in Gaza. Where is the world’s heart?
According to the UN, earlier this week, three quarters of women-headed households urgently need shelter support, and two thirds desperately need clothing. Amid the severe lack of shelter across the Strip, people are staying in buildings that are either partially or mostly damaged as they try to protect their families from the elements.
Aid continues to be heavily restricted by the occupation, but some tents and food are allowed into Gaza by merchants, which means that almost everything needs to be purchased rather than distributed for free. Thank you all for your continued support for Samira and Abdullah and their now 1-year-old Mohammed. They rely on the donations collected here to stay warm and fed.
