Yesterday, I finally got a response from my client after I provided the information about Hotel Riu Palace Riviera Maya (the hotel she was staying at) and Hotel Riu Tequila (the hotel where the Riu Parties are supposed to take place). [See the PDFs below which you can download/view.] She said she’ll be flying in to Cancun alone on April 26 and that she’ll be meeting with family there–around 2-4 people. She also said she’ll be considering going to the party on that one Friday during the trip and that she already has reservations for the hotel and had paid for the flight and stays. All she wanted to know was what to pack for the party.

So I called the hotel she was staying at about it. They didn’t know anything, but they suggested that I call Hotel Riu Tequila. When I called Hotel Riu Tequila, they said they didn’t have any information about the Riu Parties at this time, since they’re still reopening. They also don’t know if there will be still be Riu Parties around the time my client will be staying at, which is April 26 to May 3. However, they currently have a club there which is everyday from 11 PM to 2 AM.

Anyway, I emailed her back about this new information. In the meantime, I might look for some other activities in Playa del Carmen that she could do between April 26 and May 3, in case the Riu Parties at Hotel Riu Tequila don’t reopen by then.
